This month rushed by so fast that I ended up with 5 books overdue on my State of the ARC and I didn't feel as though I actually got much reading done. I still managed to clock up 15 books though! Plus I ventured into some unusual-for-me genres.
Regular blog series:
In February I blogged my usual Reading Challenge update albeit without Bookish Bingo from which I am taking a break. I also blogged State of the ARC updates as well as a Cover Characteristics collection featuring Aeroplanes - an unexpectedly versatile theme. My 5 Books, 1 Theme quintet were all books featuring Frankenstein and WorldReads visited Chile. I also continued my favourite Bookish Etsy Finds and posted a Giveaway Roundup.
Now, on with this Reading Roundup!

Spotlights
My Book Of The Month for February is the amazing historical fiction novel The Shadow King by Maaza Mengista. It's about women soldiers in the 1930s Ethiopia-Italy war (a war I previously knew nothing about) and is everything I love about the historical fiction genre - informative, immersive and utterly compelling.
