I did toy with the idea of posting this regular month roundup yesterday and also blogging a year roundup today, but what with challenge wrapup posts and actually doing some reading, it all got too much. By clicking through to Literary Flits, you can see my Book Of The Month selections and, to be honest, I'm not sure I could pick an absolute favourite from this year's dozen anyway!
Regular blog series:
In December I blogged Reading Challenge and Bookish Bingo, and State of the ARC updates as well as a Cover Characteristics collection featuring Hands. My 5 Books, 1 Theme quintet were all stories with Dog Characters and WorldReads featured books from China. I also continued my favourite Bookish Etsy Finds, posted a Giveaway Roundup, and looked back at eight years of what I read at This Time Last Year.
Now, on with this Reading Roundup!

My Reviews
Spotlights
My Book Of The Month for December is the unexpectedly brilliant historical fiction novel Suncatcher by Romesh Gunesekaran. I knew practically nothing about this book or its author before diving in and was blown away by how good it is!
