August Authorfest - reading new-to-me authors

I saw the August Authorfest challenge on Chuckles Book Cave two days ago and thought it looked like a fun one to join in with. The idea is to read lots of new-to-me authors throughout this month. Chuckles has listed books by twenty-two new-to-her authors on her post, of which I'd only previously heard of four!

These are the books I've got lined up and I'll link to their individual posts as each one is published:

Resin by Ane Riel
How To Love A Jamaican by Alexia Arthurs
We Only Saw Happiness by Gregoire Delacourt
The Wrath And The Dawn by Renee Ahdieh
Revolutions by Mateusz Skutnik
The Danes by Clarke
The Path To Change by Pope Francis
Of Faith And Fidelity by Evan Ostryzniuk
Desirable Body by Hubert Haddad
The Tale Of The Missing Man by Manzoor Ahtesham
The Gravediggers' Bread by Frederic Dard
Angelica Stone by Susi Osborne
Waiting For Monsieur Bellivier by Britta Rostlund
Sleeping Through War by Jackie Carreira

  1. Good luck with the challenge! I haven't read any of these but have heard of Renee Ahdieh and Pope Francis (of course).

    1. I'm reading the Pope Francis one at the moment. Wasn't sure how I'd get on with the thoughts of such a religious person, but he's actually got a lot of practical and pragmatic things to say

  2. It's great to have you with me! Sorry it took so long to comment here but bloglovin has been unfollowing people again without asking me and it takes me a while to realise!
