Cover Characteristics - Blood

I've long been a fan of the beautiful Cover Characteristics posts that Kristen curates over at Metaphors And Moonlight so I thought I might try putting together a similar post myself. The idea is to choose book covers which are linked in some way (featuring an object in common, perhaps, or a similar title font) and to then display them artfully. Sounds easy, turns out not to be! But it is fun to look back through my old reviews.

I've got a Halloweeny theme to this month's collection. All these book covers feature a splash of:

Blood

  2. I imagine that I'll have a ton of covers with blood on them with the size of my horror collection!

  3. Call me ultra squeamish but blood on a book cover picture has always put me off reading the inside. In complete contrast my Mum in her mid-eighties has a ghoulish collection on her bookcase but I cringe whenever I see it.

    1. I don't like particularly graphic images, but can look at the more arty ones. I love the sound of your Mum's books and your reaction!!
