State Of The ARC - August 2019

I saw this State of the ARC meme over at Avalinah's Books blog in January 2018 and thought it would be fun to join in.

The idea is to keep track of all the ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) books I've got awaiting reading and reviewing, and to make headway through the overdue pile. For my State of the ARC, I am including all books sent to me for review whether they are pre-publication copies (as ARCs should be) or simply review copies of books already available publicly. I don't include books that I have purchased myself, book exchange swaps, or free downloads.

In August I blogged my reviews of these ARCs:

Here's my State of the ARC numbers as of today:

RRB (Read, Reviewed and Blogged) essentially means those book reviews are completed and I'm just waiting for their scheduled blog post date.

No State Of The ARC would be complete without checking out the additions to my ARC stash: 9 out and 9 in. Perfect!

Here are August's new arrivals

  1. I haven't picked up any new ARC's in the past couple of weeks because I've been getting ready for family to come into town and I knew I wouldn't have time to read.

    1. I hope you have a good time with your family :-)
I've got quite an ARC backlog at the moment so lots of reading to do!

  2. You're doing so well! I've not read ARCs in a while so I'm pretty good in that regard. I do, however, have a couple of books coming in September.

    1. I'll look forward to seeing what you've got. I wonder if we're reviewing any of the same books?

  3. I love this meme! I do mine on the first of every moth, and it really helps me stay organized. I hope you're able to get to these soon! I always feel like I've accomplished something when there's a list I can check! ;)

    1. It's the same here. When I started I was very disorganised and had ARCs vanishing into the depths of my ereader! Now I am confident that I'm up to date and none are overlooked
