A week of two poorly people

I'm linking up with The Sunday Post at Caffeinated Reviewer and The Sunday Salon at Readerbuzz.

So Dave unfortunately must have picked up a flu-type bug in Bristol last weekend some time. He kindly shared it with me so about all either of us has done this week is sleep or cough. On a couple of days I couldn't even face reading and only just had the energy to enter a slew of Amazon gift card giveaways on Twitter. Then I went back to bed. I haven't won anything yet. Fingers crossed this coming week is an improvement for health and prizes!

In bookish news, I am 99% confident I must have read my Book of the Month this week because I had two which were superb. I will be amazed if I could top Writer Get Noticed! by Colleen M Story or An Empty Nest by Sandy Day in the next couple of weeks. They're very different from each other, obviously, but I'm highly recommending both to everybody I can find!

Giveaways closing soon
