Best of the Best: My Favourite Books of the Year #Top10of2018

I saw the prompt for this post in the Top 10s of 2018 meme which is being hosted at Kimberly Faye Reads. I have chosen to take part in three of the prompted posts and have loved looking back over my reading year to make my selections.

I know that this is meant to be a Top 10 post, but you'll probably swiftly spot that there are actually 12 contenders for my Book of the Year. Each of these won my Book of the Month accolade so I thought it only fair that they all feature in this post.

But which was my absolute favourite?

This one!

    1. Before I started doing a monthly favourite, it was practically impossible!

  2. I have The Shadow of the Wind sitting on my TBR shelf right now. I guess I know which book I’ll be making a priority next year.

    1. If I leave this to the end of the year it's overwhelming so I have to cheat like this ;-)

  5. I've never read this author, but the name looks familiar! It's really hard sometimes to narrow down favorite books- I know I had trouble, looking back!

    Happy New Year to you!!

    1. Zafon's a Spanish author who, I think, has been around for quite a while. I've read a couple of his magical YA adventure stories and they're great fun :-:
