State Of The ARC - October 2018

I saw this State of the ARC meme over at Avalinah's Books blog in January and thought it would be fun to join in.

The idea is to keep track of all the ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) books I've got awaiting reading and reviewing, and to make headway through the overdue pile. For my State of the ARC, I am including all books sent to me for review whether they are pre-publication copies (as ARCs should be) or simply review copies of books already available publicly. I don't include books that I have purchased myself, book exchange swaps, or free downloads.

In October I blogged my reviews of these ARCs:
Click the cover images to visit their reviews (Macbeth will be blogged on the 30th)

Here's my State of the ARC numbers as of today:

RRB (Read, Reviewed and Blogged) essentially means those book reviews are completed and I'm just waiting for their scheduled blog post date.

I managed to catch up with those overdues from last month although I have half a dozen due in the next couple of weeks so I need to keep my reading rate up for the foreseeable future. I probably won't be able to divert into too many non-ARCs for the first half of November either. Overall, pretty good though.

No State Of The ARC would be complete without checking out the additions to my ARC stash. I might have gone a little crazy this month!

Here are October's new arrivals

If you want to join this State of the ARC meme check out This Page at Avalinah's Books.

My next State of the ARC will be blogged on the 28th November.

  1. I get most of my ARC's from NetGalley too. Once in a while an author will contact me directly.

I recently found the meme and am lucky to have participated in it for October. I don't have any real progress yet, but I did outline what I'm hoping to achieve for November. Feel free to check out my post! HAPPY READING!

    1. I shocked myself when I first started because there were many ARCs hiding on my Kindle that I had forgotten all about!
