My Week in Review to the 1st April

Wanna buy a Vintage Red Felt Cloche Hat?
It's the 1st of April! Happy April Fool's Day and Happy Easter!

I am linking this post up with The Sunday Post at Caffeinated Reviewer.

We sailed back to the UK on Monday, thankfully with a millpond smooth crossing because I really Really am not a good sailor. I spent the hours between Cherbourg and Poole happily reading From Liberty To Magnolia before we checked ourselves into a good BnB for the night. If you want accommodation in Poole, I can highly recommend The Mariners BnB. Yvonne was lovely and she cooks a great breakfast!

A quick-ish family visit later - Hello Lynda and Andy! - and we got ourselves to Torquay on Tuesday afternoon.

Now we're eBaying and Preloved-ing some of the stuff we've duplicated by buying our French static and just generally having a destash. So, if you want/need random stuff this is My eBay Selling, this is Dave's eBay Selling and this is Dave's Preloved Selling. You'll notice his is more high-ticket items!

Can we interest you in a Roseanne DVD boxset?

As today is the 1st of the month, I've drawn the winner of March's Literary Flits Spotlight Post Giveaway. Congratulations to The Last Letter by Kathleen Shoop!
This book was nominated by Beck Valley Book Tours - I'll be in touch soon!
If you know of a book that could use a free Literary Flits Spotlight Post, add its link to this linkup and do tell all your author friends too :-) Next draw will be on the 1st of May ...

Do you need a Helen
Arney Ukelele Songbook?

Around the blogosphere, I loved Countries Where More Books Should Be Set on Read All The Things. I could offer Service Disrupted by Tyler E Lloyd which is a Peace Corps memoir of service in Burkina Faso.

Throughout April, author Clive Austin will donate all his book sales proceeds to homeless charity Spelthorne Rentstart. Find out more on his Goodreads page

And Daniela revealed her Ultimate Feminist Character on Nocturnal Devices. Do you agree?

Here's what you might have missed on my other blogs this week. Click the images to visit the pages ... and don't forget to enter all the Giveaways!

  2. Where in Spain did you spend winter, Stephanie Jane? Maybe one day we'll meet up somewhere, as we come here both in winter and in summer.
